Patrick R. Walden is an associate professor, chair, and program director of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. He is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist with research interests in disorders of voice and speech in adults, learning theory, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). With research funding from The Voice Foundation as well as ASHA’s Special Interest Groups, his research has focused on education in acoustics, learning theories as applied to clinical supervision, as well as auditory-perceptual evaluation of voice.
