Michael Protono has been an Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University since 2007, where he teaches Management courses for undergraduate and graduate levels, and Monmouth’s cohort with Hackensack Meridian Health.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he also taught Business Communications for six years.

Professor Protono has more than 35 years of human resources experience as a senior HR executive, advisor, and internal consultant to senior management. He was former Head of Human Resources and SVP for Atlantic Bank of New York. And, before joining Atlantic Bank, he served 18 years with Citibank, N.A., and was its Division Human Resource Director and VP for one of its major international divisions. In addition to banking, his industry experience includes Healthcare, Brokerage, Not-for-Profits and Manufacturing.
