Lavetta S. Ross, Ed.D., is an adjunct professor at Monmouth University and has been with the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership program since its inception. She earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University, a Master of Arts in teaching from Emory University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland, College Park. Currently, she serves as a principal at the Freehold Regional High School District.
Ross’s publications include her dissertation, “The Influence of the Student Mobility Rate on the Graduation Rate in the State of New Jersey,” and articles, “Equitably Responsive Teaching” and “Equitably Responsive Teaching: Interventions Needed for Equitable Inclusion of Technology in the Classroom.” In addition, she assisted in completing the statistics for the “2020–21 American Association of School Administrators Superintendent Salary & Benefits Study.”
Ross is a proud member of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Zeta Epsilon Chapter; a national sorority of educators established in 1923.
