Having obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Monmouth University and a post-graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis from Florida Institute of Technology, Donna Marie Simon remains dedicated to delivering high-quality behavior and mental healthcare services aimed at enhancing the well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health comorbidities, and challenging behaviors. Pursuing a doctorate in human rights and social justice, her professional experience encompasses work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across various settings, including mental health, medical facilities, hospice care, as well as educational and in-home programs operated through the Department of Health and Children’s System of Care. In addition to developing best practice protocols and policies, promoting systematic applications, and designing curricula for staff, caregivers, and clinicians, Simon offers supervision and consultancy services through private practice, with a specialization in applied behavior analysis and clinical counseling.
