Doug Clarke studied with legendary jazz guitarist Tal Farlow. Doug earned a B.A. from Berklee College of Music and a Masters in jazz performance from Rutgers University. He has performed with Joe Williams, Bruce Barth, and Harry Allen. He has also performed with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra as well as performing shows backing Shirley Jones, Jerry Vale, Al Martino, and many others.

Recent performances include a concert at Rutgers with special guests Wynton Marsalis, Jon Faddis, and Mulgrew Miller. Doug appears on over 20 cd’s, with arranging and composition credits several. He composed the theme music for the PBS cooking show “Healthy Heritage Kitchen”. Doug maintains an active performance and teaching schedule throughout New York and New Jersey and abroad.
