Undergraduate

First-Year Students

Apply using either the Monmouth University online Application for Admission or the Common Application.
Applicants applying through Traditional Application Review option should request that their official transcript(s) and official SAT/ACT scores be sent to the Office of Admission Processing.
Students applying through the Test-Optional Application Review option are not required to submit SAT/ACT scores to complete their application.
Monmouth also requests that all applicants submit:

  • 1 letter of recommendation
  • An essay
  • A non-refundable application fee of $60 to be submitted with the application (can be paid online by credit card)
Transfer Students (including former Monmouth University students)

Apply using either the Monmouth University online Application for Admission or the Common Application.

  • Request official transcripts from all colleges attended. If a transfer applicant has earned fewer than 24 transferable credits, a high school transcript should also be submitted.
  • Be prepared to submit SAT/ACT scores, if required.
  • Submit a non-refundable application fee of $60 with the application (can be paid online by credit card)
Undergraduate Test Optional Application

For the class entering in 2022 and 2023, first-year applicants can choose either the Traditional or Test Optional Application Review to best demonstrate their ability to succeed at Monmouth.

The University will continue to evaluate all submitted information within a holistic review process that considers each applicant’s entire achievement history. Test-optional applications will not have any negative impact on your chances of acceptance.

Monmouth requests that all applicants submit:

  • 1 letter of recommendation

Undergraduate Non-Matriculating Application

This application is for students who are currently not matriculated at any institution. These students are interested in taking an undergraduate class or two but not interested in pursuing a degree.

Monmouth requests that all non-matriculating applicants submit:

  • A copy of unofficial transcripts
  • A non-refundable application fee of $60 to be submitted with the application (can be paid online by credit card)
Undergraduate Permission Enrollment Application

This application is for students who are attending Monmouth at the permission of another institution.

Monmouth requests that all permission enrollment applicants submit:

  • A non-refundable application fee of $60 to be submitted with the application (can be paid online by credit card)

Graduate

Graduate or Doctoral Program Application

You will need to create an account through our online application portal. There you can manage your account, see deadlines, and get instructions on how to complete your application.

Physician Assistant Program Application

Apply online through the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA). Select Monmouth University from the list of schools to make sure your completed application is sent to our admission office. Physician Assistant applicants should only apply through CASPA and not through Monmouth University.

MSEd in Speech Language Pathology Application

Apply through the Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS). Select Monmouth University from the list of schools to make sure your completed application is sent to our admissions office. Applicants are only accepted through the CSDCAS system.

Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing Application

Students interested in pursuing the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) may apply through the Centralized Application Service for Nursing Programs or through the Monmouth University application for admission.

Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program Application

Submit your application online through the Occupational Therapy Centralized Application System (OTCAS)

Graduate Non-Matriculating Application

This application is for students who are interested in taking a graduate class or two but not interested in pursuing a degree.

Monmouth requests that all non-matriculating graduate applicants submit:
