• Apply to MU

    Monmouth University offers many convenient ways to apply for admission. All applicants must request that their official transcript(s) and official SAT/ACT scores be sent to the Office of Admission Processing. Monmouth also requires all applicants to submit one letter recommendation and an essay.

    The application fee is $50. Students can submit this fee by:

    • Filling out the MU application, Common Application, or Universal College Application;
    • Mailing a check to the Office of Admission Processing, Monmouth University, 400 Cedar Avenue, West Long Branch, NJ 07764; or
    • Calling 732-571-3456 to make a credit card payment.

    The Common Application for First-Year or Transfer Students

    Monmouth University accepts the Common Application for admission consideration.


    Universal College Application for First-Year or Transfer Students

    Monmouth University also accepts the Universal College Application for admission consideration.


    Non-Matriculating Application

    This application is for students who are interested in taking a class or two but not interested in pursuing a degree. Please also use this application if you are attending Monmouth at the permission of another institution.


    Print Application for Undergraduate or Graduate Admission

    Students can also download and print an application and then mail it to the Office of Admission Processing.
