MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY’S ROBERT CANCRO RECEIVES OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD

Robert Cancro, clinical faculty member in Monmouth University’s School of Education, received the outstanding educator award from the Bill Denny/Central Jersey Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame at an award luncheon held on April 22 at The Chateau in East Brunswick.

Prior to his employment at Monmouth University, Cancro was principal at the Academy of Allied Health and Science in the Monmouth County Vocational School District, principal of North Brunswick High School, vice principal at Livingston High School, and teacher of social studies in East Brunswick.

The National Football Foundation’s mission is to promote and develop the power of amateur football in developing the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, competitive zeal and the drive for academic excellence in America's young people.
