Murray Makes Fourth Appearance on NJBIZ Power 100 List

Patrick Murray, director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute, was named in Feb. to the NJBIZ Power 100 List, which recognizes individuals who are creating New Jersey’s future.

Murray’s 2023 selection marks his fourth year appearing on the annual roster that ranks the top 10 individuals in numerical order, and the remaining 90 listed alphabetically.

According to NJBIZ, “Murray has led the Monmouth University Polling Institute, which serves as one of the most respected and highly regarded measures of public opinion in the nation. Murray is regularly turned to by major news networks as a source for insight and commentary on political races and issues around the country.”

As the founding director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute, which launched in 2005, Murray frequently appears as a commentator on national and regional TV and radio, including appearances on various programs at CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, PBS, and NPR. In the institute’s home state, Murray has appeared on numerous power lists of the most influential people in New Jersey politics. He also served as a longtime board member of the Crossroads of the American Revolution National Heritage Area.
