Dr. Mihaela Moscaliuc
The Visiting Writers Series welcomes Dr. Mihaela Moscaliuc.
Mihaela Moscaliuc is the author of four poetry collections, including the recent Heartmoor (Alice James Books, 2026); translator of two collections by Romanian poets Carmelia Leonte and Liliana Ursu; editor of the critical collection on the writings of poet Gerald Stern, and co-editor, with Michael Waters, of the Knopf poetry anthologies Fruits of the Earth: Harvest Poems and Border Lines: Poems of Migration. She has also published scholarship in the fields of anglophone literature and cultural studies. Moscaliuc is a Guggenheim fellow and the recipient of fellowships from the Fulbright Program, the Hawthornden Foundation, the Ledig-Rowohlt Foundation, Yaddo, and MacDowell. Her work has received two Pushcart Prizes, two Glenna Luschei Awards from Prairie Schooner, and two Individual Artist Fellowships from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
