The results are in from this spring’s Alumni Board of Directors voting, and four new faces will be joining the board while three incumbents will also be returning on July 1, 2020.

New members Mary P. Kane ’95, Dave Nicola ’00, Marissa (Cusanelli) Purdy ’14, and Nicholas Verzicco ’19 were elected to three-year terms, while incumbents Karyn (Calabro) Cusanelli ’89, Sal Jones ’76, and Kathleen (Pribish) Sohl ’70, ’73M were reelected for three-year terms. In related news, the board elected its new Executive Board earlier this month. Beginning July 1, 2020, Karyn (Calabro) Cusanelli ’89 will serve as president. She will be joined on the Executive Board by Cory Kazar ’10 (vice president for services), Tricia Gerdon ’17M (vice president for programs), Bayaan Oluyadi ’13 (treasurer), and Alissa Catalano ’13 (secretary).

Alumni Board of Director members serve as ambassadors for the 53,000-plus alumni family. Elected by their peers each spring, this diverse group works closely with Monmouth leadership to engage all alumni through events, volunteer activities, and fundraising efforts.
