Alumni Board President Karyn Cusanelli ’89 (pictured above) is pleased to announce that four new members and one incumbent were appointed to the Monmouth University Alumni Association Board of Directors, following a record increase (173%) in alumni voting participation this spring.

New members Alissa Catalano ’13; Christine Nadramia (nee Dignon) ’10, ’11M; Richard Leclercq ’83; and Joe Snable ’95 were each elected to three-year terms, while incumbent Kate E. Stevens ’02 was reelected for a three-year term.

Alissa Catalano ’13

Business: Senior Manager of Events & Membership at New York Landmarks Conservancy

Why she serves: “Being a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors is an incredible way for me to give back to an institution that has given me so much. Having graduated over four years ago, I’m ready to become more involved.”

 

Richard Leclercq Jr. ’83

Business: Director, Information Technology, Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office

Degree: Bachelor of Science, Business Administration

Monmouth Activities: Senior Class Officer, Business Team Leader

Who helped most to make your Monmouth experience special? Lauren Woods

Why he serves: “Although I have had very little experience with the Monmouth Alumni Association since my undergraduate years, I would like to see and help the alumni network grow and connect to our current students. I look forward to offering my time, advice, and assistance to better our alumni, prospective, and current students.”

 

Christine Nadramia (nee Dignon) ’10, ’11M

Business: Staff Accountant, Shore Point Distributing Co. Inc.

Degree: Bachelor of Science, Business Administration / Accounting; Master of Science, Business Administration

Monmouth Activities: Involvement with the Leon Hess Business School

Who helped most to make your Monmouth experience special? Doug Stives

Why she serves: “I have been an active member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2015, helping to serve as a liaison for student career development with Career Services, which I am very passionate about. I am also a member of the Leon Hess Business School’s mentoring program and an associate member of the Business Council. Through these involvements, I have realized how wonderful Monmouth’s alumni engagement program is and the impact alumni giving can have on current and future Hawks. I  plan to continue to be an alumni ambassador and look forward to helping our alma mater grow.”

Why he serves: “Becoming a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors will allow me to continue to give back to the institution that has given so much to me. It will also give me the opportunity to help continue and enhance the excellent work the Board of Directors has done in engaging the Monmouth University community. I feel I can bring some new ideas that will ensure that progress continues in the coming years.”

 

Kate E. Stevens ’02 (incumbent)

Why she serves: “I have had the honor and privilege of serving on the Board and the Monmouth University community. I will continue to assist with planning and developing events and programs that allow alumni to enjoy an exceptional experience when they come back to campus.”
