  • Welcome to Counseling and Psychological Services

    The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services provides free and confidential psychological counseling to Monmouth University students on a “first come, first serve” basis. The professional staff offers counseling support to students confronting personal issues including:

    • Bereavement
    • Depression
    • Emotional Crises
    • Family Problems
    • General Mental Health
    • Identity Issues
    • Interpersonal Conflicts
    • Poor Academic Performance
    • Rape and Sexual Assault
    • Stress Management

    Counseling and Psychological Services coordinates a number of psychoeducational programs throughout the year, and 24-hour hotlines for mental health crises afford emergency assistance both on and off-campus.

    Students interested in counseling support are encouraged to make an appointment with a psychological counselor at the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services, located on the third floor of the Rebecca Stafford Student Center. General office hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional information is available on the Counseling and Psychological Services Web site.
