Beachgoers may also visit <a href=\"https:\/\/njbeaches.org\/\">NJBeaches.org<\/a> for the results of NJDEP testing conducted on Mondays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Monmouth recently became New Jersey\u2019s first partner in Surfrider\u2019s Blue Water Task Force, a nationwide network dedicated to monitoring water quality at public beaches year-round. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/uci\/2026\/06\/08\/monmouth-university-surfrider-foundation-partner-to-expand-ocean-water-quality-monitoring-in-new-jersey\/\">Through the agreement<\/a>, Monmouth has filled an important gap in the Task Force\u2019s East Coast coverage and augmented the state\u2019s ocean quality monitoring efforts, which are limited only to the summer season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To learn how you can become involved, email the Surfrider Foundation Jersey Shore Chapter at <a href=\"mailto:bwtf@jerseyshore.surfrider.org\">bwtf@jerseyshore.surfrider.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bathers and surfers can now check the Blue Water Task Force web app for water quality readings before heading to their favorite Monmouth County beaches.
