Monmouth U. Leon Hess Business School Announces NJCBAA Honor Society Inductees

Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School proudly announces that two students will be inducted in to the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association (NJCBAA) Honor Society.  Tyler A. Culley of Brielle, NJ is a senior at Monmouth University and majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.  Ottaviana De Ruvo of Wood-Ridge, NJ is also a senior and majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.  Both students will be honored at this year’s induction on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10 a.m., at the State House in Trenton, NJ.  Assemblyman Gary S. Schaer (D) (Deputy Speaker)–District 36 will be attending the Induction Ceremony and will present the citations directly to the students.

In order to recognize the very highest scholastic achievements of undergraduate students who are studying business at two- and four-year colleges in New Jersey, the two- and four-year colleges of business establish the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association Honor Society, or the NJCBAA Honor Society.

Admission into the NJCBAA Honor Society is open to all students who are pursuing a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business administration (e.g., management or business administration) or a traditional business discipline (e.g., accounting, finance or marketing).  All students who, by their grade point average, are in the top 1% of the total population of business students at their institution who have satisfactorily completed at least 70% of their degree requirements by January 1st of the induction year, and who meet the 35% criterion will be invited to join the NJCBAA Honor Society.
