Congratulations to Dorothy Cleary<\/h2>\n\n\n

We are proud to share that Dorothy Cleary, Monmouth University\u2019s 2026 supervisor of the year, has also been selected as the 2026 NEASEA regional supervisor of the year<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This prestigious recognition honors supervisors who go above and beyond in mentoring, supporting, and inspiring student employees both inside and outside the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleary\u2019s dedication to student success, her leadership, and her unwavering commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for students made a lasting impact across our campus community. Her legacy as a mentor, colleague, and leader continues to inspire us all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we continue to mourn her unexpected passing, we are honored to celebrate this well-deserved recognition of her extraordinary contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special thank you to Veronique Manfredini, student employee in Tutoring and Writing Services, for taking the time to submit such a heartfelt nomination letter that helped highlight Cleary\u2019s incredible impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Student Employment Week<\/h2>\n\n\n

The National Student Employment Week is celebrated annually by the National Student Employment Association the second week of April. This year, it will be observed April 13\u201317, 2026<\/strong>. The week showcases the importance of student employment in higher education, recognizes those students who perform outstanding work while in college, and thanks employers who hire and make the program such a success! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The week features a variety of free, virtual, and in-person events for student employees, including great giveaways and other special virtual events. We encourage student employees to participate in these opportunities, and we invite supervisors to celebrate their student employees by encouraging attendance and exploring additional ways to recognize them within their own offices. The Student Employee and Supervisor of the Year recipients will be announced during the week via the Student Employment website and social media.<\/p>\n\n\n
