Budget Packet Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
  • Clubs\/organizations must have their completed budget request proposal and approval by their club advisor on the MUPortal by this deadline.<\/li>\n
  • The club\/organization representative will also be required to schedule a meeting with the SGA representatives to review the club\/organization\u2019s requested budget.
    \n<\/del><\/li>\n
  • Failure to attend the scheduled meeting without notice to the Budget Committee within 24 hours of the scheduled meeting time will result in a percentage off the club\/organization\u2019s final budget allocation.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Late Budget Submissions<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • One business day late: 15% off the final allocation<\/li>\n
    • Two business days late: 20% off the final allocation<\/li>\n
    • Three business days late: 25% off the final allocation<\/li>\n
    • Four business days late: 30% off the final allocation<\/li>\n
    • Five business days late: 35% off the final allocation<\/li>\n
    • Six business days late: no funding for the academic year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Budget Carousel Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
  • If your club requested under $9,000, your group does not have to attend the budget carousel unless you want to.<\/li>\n
  • Each club\/organization will have a scheduled time to meet with the Budget Committee.<\/li>\n
  • Attendance is required.<\/em><\/strong> Therefore, failure to attend a meeting will result in a voided<\/strong> contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Budgets Contract Distribution
\n<\/strong>At this time, the Budget Committee will have drafted a copy of each club\/organizations\u2019 budget contract emailed<\/strong> to all clubs and organizations.\u00a0 Because of the COVID crisis, clubs and organizations that receive an annual funding contract for the 2025\/2026 academic year will not be required to sign, date and return to the SGA in person.PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Any remaining annual funds left in the club or organization’s University account at the end of an academic year will be deducted from the final allocation the group receives for the next academic school year.\u00a0 Clubs and organizations are encouraged to responsibly use the annual funding they receive within the course of one (1) academic school year (approximately September 1 to April 15<\/em>).<\/del><\/del><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Deadline to Appeal Budget Allocation
