{"id":18073,"date":"2024-01-08T16:25:24","date_gmt":"2024-01-08T21:25:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/school-of-science\/?p=18073"},"modified":"2025-12-12T15:57:56","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T20:57:56","slug":"high-school-hawk-hack-returns-this-february-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/school-of-science\/2024\/01\/08\/high-school-hawk-hack-returns-this-february-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"High School Hawk Hack Returns this February 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Monmouth University\u2019s Computer Science and Software Engineering Department welcomes high school students to participate in Monmouth University\u2019s Hawk Hack; a hackathon for high school students pursuing a career in tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join us at Monmouth University\u2019s main campus this February 16th for the 2024 High School Hawk Hack. Monmouth University\u2019s ACM\/IEEE club will host this competition of teams from local high schools as they solve a series of programming challenges. Programming challenges will require a working knowledge of the Java programming language. The top three teams\/schools will receive prizes and recognition on Monmouth University\u2019s Computer Science website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each team may be comprised of 2-3 students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools may have up to two 3-person teams compete<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To participate in this year\u2019s competition, schools must register no later than Friday, February 2nd.
