{"id":1568,"date":"2018-05-22T15:10:26","date_gmt":"2018-05-22T19:10:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/school-of-nursing-health\/monmouth-university-professional-nurses-association-mupna\/"},"modified":"2025-05-07T13:35:26","modified_gmt":"2025-05-07T17:35:26","slug":"mupna","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/school-of-nursing-health\/student-resources\/mupna\/","title":{"rendered":"Monmouth University Professional Nurses Association (MUPNA)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-big-body\">All Monmouth University Nursing students are members of MUPNA.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-purpose-of-the-mupna\">The Purpose of the MUPNA<\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To contribute to nursing education and help to provide for the highest quality of healthcare; to aid in the development of nurses\u2019 professional role and their responsibility for the healthcare of people in all walks of life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide programs representative of fundamental and current professional interests and concerns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To promote awareness and involvement in nursing education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To act as a liaison between nursing faculty, administration, student government, and nursing students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide an online means of communication for the nursing community at Monmouth University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key aims of the organization is to act as the student\u2019s voice in the Nursing Department.
