After you complete all the general education requirements and requirements in the major, you still have a remaining 44 elective credits to complete before graduation. You should allow your career goals (or potential career goals) help you determine what classes to take. If you are fairly sure that you will continue your education in a graduate psychology program, you should focus on taking as many psychology credits as possible. However, if you are less sure of this, use your electives to sample other areas. Good choices are Introduction to Social Work, Public Relations, and/or Business courses. If you are sure that you are interested in one of these areas, a minor may be a good option. Minors in Spanish and computer related fields are almost always good to have.
