She is responsible for developing and implementing inclusive support services for a diverse student body. Prior to her current role, she has served in various leadership positions in Student Affairs. She has been a higher education practitioner for over 20 years. Natasha holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in organizational communication from SUNY New Paltz and a master\u2019s degree in Higher Education Administration from New York University. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at Monmouth University. His dissertation, entitled \u201cThe Impact of an Extracurricular Student Technology Leadership Club on Student Affect, Achievement, and School Technology Use at the Middle School Level\u201d involved the implementation of a student club known as the S.W.A.T. Team (Students Working to Advance Technology). Currently working as an adjunct Professor in the Department of Education at Monmouth, Derek also works in the Ocean Township School District as a Technology Integration Specialist. Her research and teaching focus on evidence-based strategies for classroom and behavior management in inclusive settings, social emotional learning, instructional technologies, teacher education, and students and families from diverse backgrounds.
