Students pursuing a counseling program in education must be certain that it meets the standards set by the profession. The MSEd in School Counseling and the MSEd in Student Affairs\/College Counseling are CACREP-accredited programs<\/strong>, meaning they have been evaluated for quality and recognized for meeting or exceeding national standards. Having accreditation demonstrates the stability of our programs; it assures students that they will receive appropriate, up-to-date training.<\/p>\n\n\n

Annual Accreditation Report<\/h2>\n\n\n

CACREP<\/a> (Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) is a specialized accreditor in the field of counseling. To maintain accreditation with CACREP, the School of Education develops an annual report of its counseling programs in education, including the MSEd in School Counseling and the MSEd in Student Affairs and College Counseling (SACC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
