(<a href=\"mailto:lsteiner@monmouth.edu\">lsteiner@monmouth.edu<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"educators-club\">Educators Club<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>The Educators Club is comprised of future educators, spanning various grade levels and majors, with the goal of providing support and resources through workshops, professional development, and community building meetings. They are always looking for new ideas and ways to help future teachers to be successful in the field. Lesson planning advice, Praxis\/Praxis Core support, or even content specific activities to use in your placement are all examples of topics we can cover. Kappa Delta Pi pledges itself to the four ideals: Fidelity to Humanity, Science, Service, and Toil. KDP invites into its membership undergraduates who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and promise in the field of teaching. All initiates must have completed 70 credits, with at least 6 semester hours of professional education courses completed or in progress. The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Best Buddies chapter at Monmouth University strives for inclusion in building friendships between students with and without disabilities in creating lasting friendships on campus and around the Monmouth University community. The International Reading Association is uniquely qualified to recognize scholarship and to stimulate interest in the field of reading education through the sponsorship of an honor society.
