Monmouth University offers flexible, high-quality pathways designed to help provisional teachers develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for long-term success in the classroom. Whether you hold a K\u201312, Elementary K\u20136, or Preschool through Grade 3 Certificate of Eligibility, our programs provide the coursework, support, and mentorship necessary to meet New Jersey certification requirements and earn standard licensure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once hired, an Alternate Route candidate must enroll in an approved Certificate of Educator Preparation Program. At Monmouth University, options include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 30 credit Master&#8217;s in Education (M.Ed.)
