Sheryl Konopack currently teaches literacy courses as an adjunct professor in the MS.Ed Reading Specialist Program. In 2001, she completed her BS in Elementary Education, with a concentration in History at The College of New Jersey.

Sheryl currently teachers fifth grade in the Jackson Township School District. Her previous teaching experience includes low socio-economic, urban populations, as well as private school settings, in both IL and MA. She worked as part of a reconfigured school staff to analyze student assessment data, implement best-practice instruction, and research and write curriculum. For one year, she taught third-grade in a self-contained Gifted and Talented classroom.

Sheryl returned to New Jersey in 2006, and began taking classes in the Reading Specialist program, completing her MS.Ed at Monmouth in 2011.

She enjoys teaching her own young sons how to love literacy and learning, exercising, volunteering, and blogging.
