Mission Statement
The purpose of the School Change Academy is to support leaders and aspiring school leaders who are seeking to further their ability to lead innovation in schools. Through this academy, participants are guided through the process of designing and implementing at least one change initiative in their school. The work of the participants is supported by relevant professional development sessions, coaching and mentoring to best support transformational change in schools. Through the School Change Academy’s collaborative approach, school leaders can develop the skills needed to effectively innovate in education, improving the entire field from a compliance-oriented discipline towards one that actively seeks innovations.
