Current vision coverage for all full-time employees, as well as their spouse, civil union partner, and dependent children, is available through the University’s medical insurance carrier, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and managed through the subsidiary of Davis Vision.
Routine annual eye examination by a participating physician includes a $10 copay; $25 copay for lenses and a hardware allowance of up to $225 depending on frame selection. These hardware services can be accessed every 24 months. To access a list of participating providers check the Davis Vision web site.

Enrollment in the medical plan is required in order to have access to vision benefits. All medically related eye conditions or eye injuries will maintain coverage through the medical plan.
