We are committed to helping students prepare for successful entry into health professional programs upon graduation by fostering academic excellence, professional development, and informed decision-making. Grounded in the principles of education, integrity, and communication, we provide accurate information, ethical guidance, and meaningful mentorship to help students navigate their unique pathways with confidence and purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><br><br>Registered students with the office of pre professional health are entitled to general and personalized advising from the pre health committee. This guidance is specifically designed to prepare them for a successful application and acceptance to a health professional graduate program once they complete their baccalaureate degree at Monmouth University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grade specific meetings are offered in fall and spring to outline the journey from freshman year and continuing up to and including senior year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PPHS hosts medical, dental, physician assistant, veterinary, and other schools and speakers for students to meet with admissions teams across the spectrum of health professions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Membership to Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society to pre health students that meet the requirements. AED is a national pre professional honor society; when accepted, it is a lifetime membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Become a Pre Health-Ambassador!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Join&nbsp;a pre-health club: Pre Med, Pre PA, Pre Dental, Volunteer Club, Sports Medicine Club, Pre OT, Neuroscience Club&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society is a national health pre professional honor society. Ask about membership to the NJ Delta Chapter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pre-Professional Health Advising<br \/>\n (for Medicine, Dentistry, and other Health Careers)<br \/>\n  Designed to foster motivated, caring, and communicative students who intend to pursue careers as physicians and health care professionals, Monmouth University&#8217;s pre-professional health advising charts a uniform course of study under the mentorship of the Pre-Professional Health Advisory Committee (PPHAC). Advising is offered for students interested in further study at health professional schools, including medical, dental, podiatry, physician assistant, physical therapy, chiropractic, veterinary, public health, occupational therapy and various other allied health fields.<br \/>\n The Pre-Professional Health Office is located in Room 312 Howard Hall.
