Alison Gilbert, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship, was recently recognized by ROI-NJ as part of their ROI Influencers: Women 2026<\/a> list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special edition list honors more than 300 women leaders whose \u201cvision, leadership, and commitment have meaningfully shaped New Jersey\u2019s business and civic landscape.\u201d The list represents women across industries and sectors whose achievements and contributions have \u201cstrengthened our state\u2019s economy and social fabric.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn behalf of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Monmouth University, I am honored to be recognized by ROI-NJ for our work powering Monmouth’s founder community and helping to grow the Jersey Shore into an innovation hub,\u201d said Gilbert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gilbert was selected by ROI for her role in advancing innovative programming through the Center and entrepreneurial initiatives across the University. Her profile highlights success in \u201csupporting student startups and experiential learning initiatives while expanding partnerships that connect academic entrepreneurship with real-world business development opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis honor is a testament to our growing community of ambitious students, alumni, dedicated faculty, advisors, partners, regional entrepreneurs, and Monmouth leadership\u2014collectively fueling innovation and entrepreneurial activity across the University and throughout the region,\u201d she continued. \u201cI’m inspired by all the entrepreneurs and innovators\u00a0we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with and support. I’m excited to continue our work incubating and accelerating ventures pushing\u00a0New Jersey and the world forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gilbert has consulted, coached, advised and workshopped with hundreds of early-stage entrepreneurs to help them launch, build and grow their businesses. She is the founder and lead business strategist at business strategy studio Project AG as well as the founder of The Big Whisper, a collection of tools to help anyone tap into their big whispers and bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
