Monmouth University President Patrick F. Leahy has again been recognized by ROI-NJ on the ROI Influencers Power 2026: Higher Education list<\/a>. This recognition highlights leaders who are shaping their institutions and contributing to New Jersey\u2019s academic and economic landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leahy was honored for spearheading the expansion of the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music at Monmouth University. The project includes a new, modern facility featuring exhibition gallery, dedicated educational and event spaces, and a 230-seat, state-of-the-art theater set to open on June 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under Leahy\u2019s leadership, Monmouth has also strengthened its academic profile, earning a National University designation by U.S. News & World Report and achieving a Carnegie Research Classification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Leahy has led a successful comprehensive campaign that is on track to surpass $185 million\u2014more than double the original target when the plan launched in 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
