Taylor L. Guthrie, DSW student in Human Rights Leadership, was recently selected to serve on The Camden Coalition<\/a>‘s Targeted Case Management (TCM) Training and Education Advisory Committee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a member of the committee, Guthrie will support curriculum development and implementation through informing training content and case studies related to case management and the juvenile justice system, attending pilot TCM training sessions, and participating in monthly virtual advisory committee meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Only eight to 10 individuals throughout the state were selected, so I feel very privileged to have been accepted,” Guthrie said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the committee is to develop and implement services for community youth reentry through New Jersey’s Pathway to Reintegration Initiative<\/a>. These programs provide structured, supportive environments that help individuals prepare for successfully transitioning from incarceration and reintegrate into their communities. Participants benefit from tailored treatment and rehabilitation services, including substance use disorder treatment and mental health support, educational and vocational training, and employment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Taylor’s selection for the Camden Coalition’s\u00a0committee is a recognition of her expertise and\u00a0long-standing commitment to working with community youth post-incarceration.\u00a0Her DSW\u00a0capstone,\u00a0‘Well-Being and Social Justice: Promoting Human Rights via Post-Incarceration Programming for Youth and Young Adults,’ reflects her social work\u00a0human rights leadership journey and we are so proud to see her making an impact in such a vitally important area,” Anne Deepak, Ph.D., interim DSW program director and associate professor, said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
