“Hemodynamic Monitoring Made Incredibly Easy,” a textbook by Rose Knapp, DNP, RN, APN-C, associate professor of nursing and MSN program director, was recently awarded third place by the American Journal of Nursing (AJN)<\/a> for the 2025 Book of the Year Award<\/a>, in the Critical Care\/Emergency Nursing category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This book masterfully bridges the gap between complexity and clarity, transforming intimidating concepts into engaging, digestible content,” concluded AJN editors. “It offers universal appeal: novices will appreciate its foundational breakdowns of anatomy, physiology, and step-by-step interventions, while experienced nurses, whether switching specialties or refreshing their knowledge, will find it to be a quick-reference lifeline.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The textbook explores the fundamentals of hemodynamic nursing skills including the structures and functions of pulmonary and cardiac systems.
