School of Social Work faculty, Golam Mathbor, Ph.D., interim dean and professor, Joelle Zabotka, Ph.D., chair and associate professor, Christa Hogan, MSW, Bachelor of Social Work program director and senior lecturer, Ralph Cuseglio, DSW, associate professor, and Jamie Nappi, MSW, specialist professor, recently presented at the First World Congress of Clinical Social Work<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The virtual event was hosted by Capa Social Work with a central theme of \u201cPrioritizing people and their environment in a dynamic, changing, and digital world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mathbor was invited as a special guest speaker and delivered an opening day address, highlighting on the importance of clinical social work and the specialization within the practice<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zabotka, Hogan, Cuseglio, and Nappi participated in the panel discussion, \u201cHelping the Helper<\/a>,\u201d where they explored strategies in supporting social work professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
