Monmouth University President Patrick Leahy, Ed.D., and Matt Harmon, Ed.D., senior specialist professor in the Department of Communication, dropped the first episode of the new Monmouth Matters podcast on Sept. 26. The series, which replaces Leahy and Harmon\u2019s previous podcast originally developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, will feature student involvement in the production of its monthly episodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this episode, Leahy and Harmon recap summer projects and improvements across campus while celebrating the strongest incoming class in the University\u2019s history. They additionally discuss continued institutional efforts to expand access for first-generation and low-income students, Monmouth\u2019s positive financial standing, the 50th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen\u2019s \u201cBorn to Run,\u201d and the importance of commemorating the 9\/11 anniversary on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
