Two of Meyer\u2019s sculptures are included in \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hammondmuseum.org\/you-think-thats-funny\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">You Think That\u2019s Funny? Humor in Contemporary Art<\/a>\u201d at the Hammond Museum in North Salem, N.Y. Curated by D. Dominick Lombardi, the exhibit runs through Nov. 16. <br><br>In Lombardi&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/dartmagazine.com\/?p=3926\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accompanying exbition essay<\/a>,  published in Dart International Magazine and in CultureCatch, he observes, &#8220;Meyer\u2019s sculptures have a B-movie type futuristic look to them that feels timid in one way and grandiose in another.\u00a0A bold mix of emotions that gives her work a unique sort of humor that is subtle but effective.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Meyer is included in the group exhibition, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.drawingrooms.org\/current-exhibitions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Formless<\/a>,\u201d at Drawing Room, Jersey City, N.J. Curated by Anne Trauben, artist, arts advocate, curator, and exhibitions coordinator at Drawing Room, \u201cFormless\u201d runs through Oct. 5.
