The education services company profiles and recommends Monmouth in the new edition of its annual college guide, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/college-rankings\/best-colleges\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition<\/a>&#8221; (2024, Penguin Random House). The Princeton Review also recently named Monmouth University as one of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/business-school-rankings\/best-business-schools\">Best Business Schools 2024<\/a> in the on-campus MBA category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We salute Monmouth University for its outstanding academics, and many other impressive offerings. We recommend it as an ideal choice for students searching for their \u2018best-fit\u2019 college,\u201d said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review&#8217;s editor-in-chief and lead author of \u201cThe Best 390 Colleges.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only about 15% of America\u2019s 2,600 four-year colleges are profiled in the book. The Princeton Review choses the colleges for the book based on data it annually collects from surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions\u2019 academic offerings. The Centers of Distinction, as well as numerous conferences and panels, are also highlighted by students as opportunities to \u201cengage with experts in their field, explore cutting-edge research and ideas, and network with professionals and peers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional student perspectives about the Monmouth experience consider its proximity to both city life and the beach as \u201cthe best of two worlds.\u201d The profile highlights campus as \u201cextremely diverse and integrated\u201d with frequent activities and events that make it \u201cvery easy to fill your days.\u201d Faculty are also praised for being available and accommodating, with one student remarking, \u201cMy professors have allowed me to flourish\u2026 What I once thought was a dream career is within reach because of their efforts and engagement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monmouth was ranked No. 13 in the Best Student Support and Counseling Services category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are truly grateful for the recognition from our students and take pride in our efforts to support their health and well-being,&#8221; said Christopher Mckittrick, PsyD, LPC, ACS, director of Counseling and Prevention Services. &#8220;Each year, we dedicate ourselves to meeting their unique needs, and this acknowledgment motivates us to keep striving for excellence. We remain committed to living up to their high expectations and hope our dedication has made our University community proud.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Princeton Review does not rank the colleges in the book hierarchically, from 1 to 390. However, the book has 50 categories of ranking lists. Each list names the top 25 schools (of those in the book) in its category. The ranking lists are entirely based on The Princeton Review\u2019s surveys of 168,000 students at the 390 schools in the book. The 89-question survey asked students to rate their colleges on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences at them. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/college-rankings\/ranking-methodology\">Information on the student survey process and methodology for the ranking lists is available on The Princeton Review\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Best 390 Colleges\u201d is one of more than 150 Princeton Review books in a line published by Penguin Random House. The annual book and its rankings have been featured on NBC TODAY more than two dozen times and referenced by many other media from NPR to \u201cThe Wall Street Journal\u201d and \u201cThe Chronicle of Higher Education.\u201d The school profiles and ranking lists in &#8220;The Best 390 Colleges&#8221; are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/college-rankings\/best-colleges\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">posted online where they can be searched for free<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.princetonreview.com\/\">The Princeton Review<\/a> is an education services company known for its tutoring, test-prep, admission services, books, and other learning resources.
