Monmouth University has once again earned a spot on Money Magazine\u2019s Best Colleges in America 2024<\/a> list, the 10th consecutive time the University has been named to the roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monmouth received four out of five stars based on the magazine\u2019s recently updated ranking system, and is one of 745 four-year institutions recognized for their quality and affordability, screened from a group of more than 2,400 private and public nonprofit colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Monmouth University’s inclusion in Money Magazine’s 2024 list of Best Colleges in America is a testament to our unwavering commitment to academic excellence, social mobility, and student success,\u201d said Monmouth University President Patrick F. Leahy. \u201cThis recognition highlights our dedication to providing an education that is both exceptional and accessible,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Money analyzed 25 factors, including graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries, allowing the magazine to group colleges into star ratings. Money revised its ranking system last year to assist families in evaluating colleges\u2019 relative performance without emphasizing a specific numerical placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to three main evaluation categories of quality of education, affordability, and outcomes, Money additionally incorporated a value-added metric to assess the economic and academic backgrounds of admitted students. This metric also considered data points such as net price according to income level and outcomes of Pell Grant recipients, assessing how effectively schools support students from lower-income backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
