George Wurzbach, specialist professor in the department of Music and Theatre Arts, composed the original music score for the documentary film, “If You Tell Anyone,” directed by three-time Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker Dean Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf You Tell Anyone\u201d is a powerful and cautionary story about the complexities of childhood trauma and its aftermath. The film is based on the true story of Australian born author\/actor Nathan Spiteri, adapted from his memoir \u201cToy Cars; One Man\u2019s Journey from Trauma to Triumph\u201d and his highly acclaimed TEDx Talk<\/a> about how to heal in the aftermath of childhood sexual abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiteri is telling his story to inspire other abuse victims to speak up and get the help they need while also helping parents recognize the dangers and symptoms of a child who may be being sexually abused. Today, Spiteri is an actor, writer, and successful motivational speaker living in New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production team worked with psychologist Norman Fried, Ph.D., who served as a consultant on and off camera. As a trauma specialist, Fried brought his expertise to the film to help viewers understand the psychological impact of childhood trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
