{"id":40802274688,"date":"2023-06-27T15:12:31","date_gmt":"2023-06-27T19:12:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/news\/?p=40802274688"},"modified":"2023-07-12T14:33:11","modified_gmt":"2023-07-12T18:33:11","slug":"monmouth-university-is-one-of-money-magazines-best-colleges-in-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/news\/monmouth-university-is-one-of-money-magazines-best-colleges-in-america\/","title":{"rendered":"Monmouth University is One of &#8220;Money Magazine&#8217;s&#8221; Best Colleges in America"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Monmouth University was named to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/money.com\/best-colleges\/?ref=\/best-colleges-new-rating-system-2023\/\">Money Magazine\u2019s\u201d Best Colleges in America 2023<\/a> list, which identifies colleges that combine quality and affordability. <a href=\"https:\/\/money.com\/best-colleges\/profile\/monmouth-university\/\">Monmouth<\/a> is one of 736 four-year institutions across the nation to qualify for the roster, receiving four stars out of five based on the magazine\u2019s new ranking system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to be recognized for our continued work in becoming a national leader in the successful integration of excellence and access,\u201d said Monmouth University President Patrick F. Leahy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To compile this year\u2019s list, \u201cMoney\u201d analyzed dozens of data points, including graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries. The new system \u201crecognizes that there are multiple ways for a school to provide value, and multiple \u2018best\u2019 colleges, depending on your goals and priorities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the three major evaluation categories of quality, affordability, and outcomes, \u201cMoney\u201d also included a \u201cvalue-added\u201d metric to consider the economic and academic profile of admitted students.
