Recent graduates of the BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design program, Emily Lopes ’23 and Jordan Bush ’23, were selected as the first place winner and runner-up, respectively, in a logo design contest commissioned by Long Branch Arts (LBA)<\/a>. The contest, which asked Monmouth Art and Design students to create LBA’s new brand logo, was initiated by the founders of the LBA, Karen Zabarsky Blashek and Gabor Barabas, and organized by Chair of the Department of Art and Design Frederick McKitrick, Ph.D., and led by Professor Jing Zhou, MFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners were announced at the Long Branch Arts and Cultural Center<\/a> on May 18. In addition to showcasing a wide range of works by local artists, the exhibition featured the winning work and finalists of the logo contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winning entries are below and all entries are on view at the Long Branch Arts Logo Contest<\/a> website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
