Deepak and Mathbor Featured in Recently Published Book"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Anne Deepak, Ph.D., and Golam Mathbor, Ph.D., professors in the School of Social Work, co-authored a chapter in the recently published, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/Social-Work-and-Climate-Justice-International-Perspectives\/Madhanagopal-Nikku\/p\/book\/9781032060279\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Social Work and Climate Justice: International Perspectives<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deepak and Mathbor wrote the third chapter, \u201cClimate Change, Environmental Justice, and Sustainable Development in Social Work,\u201d which describes the value of Green Social Work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chapter also details how Green Social Work is tackling environmental justice and climate change through sustainable development framed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the global advocacy of the profession, and bolstered by core social work skills.
