For the 18th<\/sup> straight year, Monmouth University is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduates according to The Princeton Review. <\/strong>The education services company profiles and recommends Monmouth in the new edition of its annual college guide, “The Best 388 Colleges: 2023 Edition.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Princeton Review chose the colleges for the book based on data it annually collects from surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions\u2019 academic offerings. For its selection of profiled schools for the book, the company also reviews data from its surveys of college students attending the schools. Only about 14 percent of America\u2019s 2,700 four-year colleges are profiled in the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We salute Monmouth University for its outstanding academics, and its many other impressive offerings. We\u2019re delighted to recommend it as an ideal choice for students searching for their \u2018best-fit\u2019 college,\u201d said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief and lead author of “The Best 388 Colleges.”  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student feedback in The Princeton Review’s profile praises Monmouth University for its \u201cgreat variety of course offerings and programs,\u201d many of which prioritize \u201chands-on experience.\u201d The profile also lauds foresight with numerous career- and success-minded initiatives and resources, particularly when it comes to tutoring or writing services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional student perspectives about the Monmouth experience highlight the importance of small class sizes, with students noting that their professors are \u201cpassionate about the subject they teach\u201d and strive to \u201cconnect what we learn in class to the real world.\u201d Students also say that Monmouth is full of \u201cmotivated and creative people\u201d who are \u201cacademically driven and work hard to be involved in many things on campus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monmouth also appears on the ranking lists for Fire Safety Honor Roll and Best Northeastern Regional Colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school profiles and ranking lists in “The Best 388 Colleges” are posted online where they can be searched for free<\/a>. “The Best 388 Colleges” is one of more than 150 Princeton Review books in a line published by Penguin Random House. The annual book and its rankings have been featured on NBC TODAY more than a dozen times and referenced by many other media from NPR to “The Wall Street Journal” and “The Chronicle of Higher Education.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
