Ken Womack, Ph.D., professor of English and Popular Music, will present his multimedia, interactive lecture, \u201cSir George Martin and the Beatles\u2019 Abbey Road Medley,\u201d at the Middletown Township Public Library on Thursday, July 14.<\/p>\n

The in-person lecture will take place in the Community Room of the library from 7-8:30 p.m. The presentation is a free event that requires registration.<\/a><\/p>\n

Through rare clips and video, Womack will trace the story of George Martin\u2019s production of the “Abbey Road” medley and demonstrate the ways in which Martin and the band assembled the component parts of the spectacular song cycle that concluded the group\u2019s artist fusion.<\/p>\n
