Mihaela Moscaliuc, Ph.D., associate professor in the department of English, has published her poem, \u201cBy Chocolate,\u201d in the Spring 2022 issue of \u201cPloughshares,\u201d<\/a> released April 13.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In addition to Moscaliuc\u2019s piece, this issue features original poetry and prose by authors Sheila Black, Andres Cerpa, Victoria Chang, Jane Hirshfield, Mary Jo Bang, Paige Lewis, Layli Long Soldier, Khadijah Queen, Hadara Bar-Nadav, Hassaan Mirza, and others. The issue is guest-edited by Ilya Kaminsky.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cPloughshares\u201d<\/a> is an award-winning journal of new writing. Since 1971, \u201cPloughshares\u201d has discovered and cultivated the freshest voices in contemporary American literature, and now provides readers with thoughtful and entertaining literature in a variety of formats.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Previously, Moscaliuc has published poetry collections \u201cCemetery Ink\u201d (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2021) and \u201cImmigrant Model\u201d (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2015). She has also translated poetry by Romanian writers Carmelia Leonte and Liliana Ursu, co-edited \u201cBorder Lines: Poems of Migration (Knopf, 2020),\u201d and edited \u201cInsane Devotion: On the Writing of Gerald Stern\u201d (Trinity University Press, 2016).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
