Monmouth University President Patrick F. Leahy has been named to the 2021 NJBIZ Education Power 50 list for a second time, while Monmouth University Polling Institute Director Patrick Murray remains in the top 10 for a third consecutive year.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In their profile of Leahy, NJBIZ writes that even amidst a global pandemic, Leahy has advanced numerous areas of the University. Under his leadership, \u201cMonmouth welcomed its first class of students for its Doctor of Occupational Therapy, slated to graduate in November next year.\u201d NJBIZ also notes that Leahy made significant hires including Pamela Scott-Johnson, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, and Raj Devasagayam, dean of the Leon Hess Business School. Additionally, under Leahy, “the University and Monmouth Medical Center jointly opened the Linda Grunin Simulation Lab and Learning Center, which provides simulation training in health care education.”<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
