Stanton Green, Ph.D., professor emeritus of Anthropology, was the lead author of the article, \u201cArchaeology as a Public Good<\/a>,” in the April 2021 issue of \u201cArchaeologies: Journal of the World Archaeological Congress<\/a>” with Claudia Green, an independent archaeologist based in West Long Branch, NJ, and Joseph Schuldenrein of Geoarchaeological Associates, NY, who also served as co-editors of the special issue.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In addition to “Archaeology as a Public Good,” the volume includes “Recreating and Protecting Southeast Ireland\u2019s Cultural and Environmental Heritage<\/a>,” by Green, S., Schuldenrein, J., Green, C.\u00a0et al.,\u00a0<\/i>and articles by distinguished researchers from the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and Australia, who provide case examples of how archaeology can serve as a doorway to a culture\u2019s heritage, and improve a community\u2019s quality of life.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
