Angello Villarreal, adjunct professor in World Languages and Ed.D. candidate, and graduate student Adrian Castro, a Spanish teacher at Long Branch High School, organized a new Spanish debate competition<\/a> at Long Branch High School in May.<\/p>\n

The friendly competition was between students in the AP Spanish class and ESL students for whom Spanish is a native language.\u00a0 The event focused on empowering students\u2019 diversity, inclusion, and appreciation of language skills.<\/p>\n
