The episode goes live on Tuesday, March 23 at 10 a.m., and can be accessed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/springsteenarchives.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bruce Springsteen Archives &amp; Center for American Music website<\/a>\u00a0or via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/brucespringsteenarchives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Springsteen Archives\u2019 Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Music historian Bob Santelli interviews Lowell who has appeared on and off in live performances with Springsteen since 1990. She has sung on several of Springsteen\u2019s albums, including &#8220;Lucky Town,&#8221; &#8220;The Ghost of Tom Joad,&#8221; &#8220;Devils and Dust,&#8221; and &#8220;Wrecking Ball<em>.&#8221;<\/em> She released a solo album, &#8220;Beautiful Behavior,&#8221; in 2011. Lowell has appeared on stage with many others, including Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and Patti Scialfa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPatti Scialfa, Soozie Tyrell, and Lisa Lowell are the first ladies of Jersey Shore rock &amp; roll,\u201d said Santelli. \u201cLisa\u2019s story is especially interesting, as she\u2019s led such an incredible music life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was able to draw from both the Jersey Shore and New York City for my musical evolution,\u201d recalled Lowell. \u201cI saw the opportunity to make a living and explore the many genres I loved both as a backup singer and lead singer, and carved a career for myself. It\u2019s been a fun ride.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>What\u2019s Up on E Street?<\/em>\u00a0is a series that highlights the individual members of the band and how they are dealing with the global COVID-19 pandemic. Previous interviews include other E Street Band members Nils Lofgren, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Garry Tallent, and Steven VanZandt, as well as longtime Springsteen videographer and movie producer Thom Zimny and longtime Springsteen manager and co-producer Jon Landau.<\/p>\n<p>About BSACAM: The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University serves as the official archival repository for Bruce Springsteen\u2019s written works, photographs, periodicals, and artifacts.
