Monmouth University is one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduates to earn their college degree, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company profiles and recommends Monmouth University in the 2021 edition of its annual college guide, The Best 386 Colleges<\/em>, which was released on Aug. 18. The Princeton Review has included Monmouth University in its lists of best colleges for the last 16 years.<\/p>\n

Only about 13 percent of America\u2019s 2,800 four-year colleges are profiled in the book, which is one of The Princeton Review\u2019s most popular publications. The company chooses the colleges for the book based on data it annually collects from administrators at hundreds of colleges about their institutions\u2019 academic offerings. The Princeton Review also considers data it gathers from its surveys of college students who rate and report on various aspects of their campus and community experiences for this project.<\/p>\n

In the profile, students say that \u201csmall class sizes help the learning experience\u201d and \u201callow you to develop a good rapport with your professors.\u201d Don\u2019t underestimate the small things either: \u201cTeachers actually knowing your name means a lot.\u201d Many are \u201cwonderful and truly invested in helping you do well.\u201d They tend to be \u201cpassionate about the subject they teach and make it interesting for the students.\u201d Overall, \u201cthey\u2019re here to push you, but also make it clear that they will be more than willing to meet with you outside of class.\u201d Perhaps best of all, professors often strive \u201cto connect what we learn in class to the real world.\u201d<\/p>\n

“We salute Monmouth University for its outstanding academics and we are truly pleased to recommend it to prospective applicants searching for their personal \u2018best-fit\u2019 college,\u201d said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief and lead author of The Best 386 Colleges<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Princeton Review also praises Monmouth University for its location and career- and success-minded initiatives and resources, as well as its small class sizes and hands-on experiences.<\/p>\n

In a “Survey Says” sidebar in the book’s profile on Monmouth University, The Princeton Review lists topics that Monmouth students were in most agreement about in their answers to The Princeton Review\u2019s survey questions. The list includes: \u201cFrats and sororities are popular,\u201d \u201cStudents are happy,\u201d and \u201cgreat off-campus food.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Princeton Review’s school profiles and 62 ranking lists in The Best 386 Colleges<\/em> are posted at princetonreview.com\/best386<\/a> where they can be searched for free with site registration.<\/p>\n
