In response to this, President Patrick Leahy and generous members of the University community have made a strong commitment to alleviating our students\u2019 stressors by establishing the <a href=\"http:\/\/monmouth.edu\/presidents-relief-fund.\">President\u2019s Relief Fund<\/a>. The relief fund provides immediate assistance to current students facing financial difficulty. This fund can support hardships including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>technology access<\/li>\n<li>unexpected travel expenses<\/li>\n<li>food insecurity<\/li>\n<li>necessities for daily living<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students began applying for this assistance on March 24, and the relief fund has helped approximately 450 student with small grants totaling $150,000 to date. If you are a current full-time student facing financial hardship due to the pandemic and are interested in applying for a President\u2019s Relief Fund grant, <a href=\"http:\/\/monmouth.edu\/presidents-relief-fund\">please read the eligibility requirements<\/a>. Please note, 100% of all donations to the President\u2019s Relief Fund will directly support Monmouth students\u2019 most urgent needs as they adapt to these changing times.
