{"id":40802240289,"date":"2019-09-04T11:32:40","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T15:32:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/news\/?p=40802240289"},"modified":"2019-09-20T09:16:23","modified_gmt":"2019-09-20T13:16:23","slug":"new-online-fundraising-tool-can-help-you-raise-funds-for-monmouth-university-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/news\/new-online-fundraising-tool-can-help-you-raise-funds-for-monmouth-university-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"New Online Fundraising Tool Can Help You Raise Funds for Monmouth University Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving is\u00a0now accepting project applications for the University&#8217;s crowdfunding platform, an online fundraising tool\u00a0intended to solicit philanthropic support for student, faculty, and staff projects.<\/p>\n<p>Crowdfunding is a project-specific 30-60 day online fundraising campaign in which a passionate group of advocates, with assistance from the Office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, solicit online donations from their own personal contacts including alumni and University friends via email and social media.<\/p>\n<p>Through this unique digital fundraising tool, members of the Monmouth community can come together to create, participate, and share projects dedicated to supporting student success and institutional achievement.<\/p>\n<p>When you visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/fly.monmouth.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">crowdfunding site<\/a>\u00a0 you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit an application\u00a0to champion a crowdfunding project you believe in<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;about&#8221;\u00a0to find answers to common questions<\/li>\n<li>Discover projects\u00a0launched by Monmouth\u00a0students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends<\/li>\n<li>Make tax-deductible donations\u00a0using a convenient and secure online form<\/li>\n<li>Share projects\u00a0with other advocates to help generate even greater interest for the campaign<\/li>\n<li>Keep tabs\u00a0on progress made toward goals and stay up-to-date on the impact of\u00a0your philanthropy<\/li>\n<li>Join a network\u00a0of Hawk supporters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Want to learn more about crowdfunding at Monmouth or how to submit a project for consideration?
